COLBERT PACKAGING TO UNVEIL NEW ZIP-SERT CARTON AT PACK EXPO INTERNATIONAL 2002
LAKE FOREST, Ill., Sept. 16, 2002 - Colbert Packaging Corporation will introduce ZIP-SERT® at PACK EXPO International - Nov. 3-7, 2002 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
ZIP-SERT incorporates informational inserts and folding cartons into one unit and eliminates manual or automatic placement of inserts on production packaging lines. A built-in die cut window allows for verification and certification of the insert in the carton.
"Our new ZIP-SERT carton is a great way to eliminate insert inventory and the need to drop product inserts into a carton. Both components are supplied as one unit which saves production down time," said Ed Baker, president of Colbert Packaging.
PACK EXPO International 2002 is sponsored by Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI). The exposition will feature 1,600 exhibitors and will be the showcase for the latest innovations and state-of-the-art advances in packaging machinery, materials, containers, packages, software, components, fabrications, robotics and design systems.
