COLBERT PACKAGING TO UNVEIL NEW CLICK-A-DOSE PACKAGE AT PACK EXPO INTERNATIONAL 2002
LAKE FOREST, Ill., Sept. 16, 2002 - Colbert Packaging Corporation will introduce CLICK-a-DOSE® at PACK EXPO International - Nov. 3-7, 2002 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
CLICK-a-DOSE is a completely unique and effective way of dispensing medication. The package combines a three-part thermoformed blister and an outer folding carton. It is easy for seniors to use, yet adds security for child resistant packaging (pending child resistant packaging testing).
"CLICK-a-DOSE gives pharmaceutical companies another way of presenting their products. It's small enough to fit easily into a pocket or handbag. Our research on this type of package is very positive," stated Lon Johnson, vice president of new business development at Colbert Packaging.
PACK EXPO International 2002 is sponsored by Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI). The exposition will feature 1,600 exhibitors and will be the showcase for the latest innovations and state-of-the-art advances in packaging machinery, materials, containers, packages, software, components, fabrications, robotics and design systems. It will be co-located with IEFP 2002, the International Exposition for Food Processors. Over 50,000 packaging professionals from the U.S. and other countries around the world will attend the show.
