A Family Tradition
Nancy Colbert MacDougall is chairman of the board of Colbert Packaging. The daughter of the late Charles Colbert, the company's founder, Nancy in her own right has risen up the ranks of Colbert Packaging over the past three decades. Nancy joined Colbert in 1975, and she worked as an estimator until 1980. From 1980 until 1995, she served as the assistant to the then-chairman, Charles Colbert. In 1995, Nancy was appointed executive vice president, overseeing all human resources and personnel functions for the company, a post she held until October 2009 when she became chairman of the board. A "people person" with a longstanding commitment to ensuring Colbert's family-oriented atmosphere, Nancy continues to manage the company's personnel functions today.
Nancy holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y., where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated cum laude in 1974. She continued her education in the religion history doctoral program at Princeton University.
